It's hard to think this was the rookie season Jahlil Okafor envisioned when he was drafted by the Sixers. Although his personal statistics are good, Philadelphia is now 0-11, and struggling to find the answers to turn this season around. To make matters worse, it seems like Okafor was the recipient of a little friendly fire today at practice.
Brown: #Sixers Okafor got hit in mouth by Wood. Might need stitches.

That can't feel good. Lucky for Philadelphia, it doesn't sound too serious.
The Sixers take on the Indiana Pacers from The Center tomorrow evening, and could hold Okafor out of action if he needs stitches. They have been extra cautious with injured players in recent history.
His absence would leave the team with just three healthy front court players: Nerlens Noel, Jerami Grant, and Christian Wood. Rookie power forward Richaun Holmes is still recovering from a hamstring injury.
Feel better, Jah.
UPDATE (2:14 p.m.): LB alumni Derek Bodner says Okafor shouldn't miss any time. Crisis averted.
