Does anyone know what happens next season if Harden refuses to play this entire season? If he holds out and nothing happens with him all year, he can't sign with anyone else without our permission. The new CBA language seems to imply that NEXT year would basically be a do-over - he still owes us this year, and won't get paid until he gives it to us.

But what would his cap hit be? We're hoping to have a max-salary slot open next offseason; but would we still have this 34 million cap hold in new CBA purgatory?
