In finance, risk has been tied to volatility since before I started 45 years ago, So why doesn't a measure exist in b-ball? ( There's not right? ) I'm thinking of Maxey, who's like Steph Curry 1/3 of the times and Frank Ntilikina 2/3 and how can you game plan w/ that? I get Maxey's 21. I'm patient w/in reason. But wouldn't it be good if there was an advanced stat for consistency? Think about it. You can't really coach a thing if you can't measure it. Measure inconsistency and you can devise a therapeutic to go w/ the diagnostic. It can't be that hard mathematically can it?
