Play the Rookies!

One of the common criticisms heard is that coaches (and specifically Doc) don't give enough floor time to developing players. Fans like to see rookies develop, and when they have limited success in specific roles/situations, there's usually a clamor heard for more.

Personally, I'd like to see the younger players 10% to 20% more then is the current practice for the first half of the season. But once its time to gear up for the playoffs, I don't have any problem with Doc's approach. Fans always over react to flashes of talent like Maxey had last year. It would be fantastic if Maxey just picked up and built on what he did last spring, but more likely is that he has some up and down streches this year, and maybe even struggles a bit with a sophomore wall.

What I'm curious about is which coaches have done the best job of playing rookies and sophomores solid minutes while still preparing a team to get deep into the playoffs?
