Milwaukee Bucks vs. Atlanta Hawks - 8:30 pm ET (TNT, TNT OT) - Bucks lead series 3-2
With both Trae Young and Giannis Antetokounmpo sidelined due to injury in Game 5, the Bucks were able to secure a 123-112 win. Brook Lopez was instrumental in deciding the outcome. He only attempted 2 three-pointers while turning in a throwback performance, as he went to work inside and used frequent rolls to the rim to score a team-high 33 points on 14-of-18 shooting to go along with 7 rebounds, 2 steals and 4 blocks.
Along with 26 points from Khris Middleton, 25 from Jrue Holiday, 22 from Bobby Portis, improved offensive movement, and a strong defensive effort with effective switching to disrupt the Hawks, the Bucks were able to stay in control.
Unfortunately injury concerns still persist for Game 6, with Antetokounmpo out due to his left knee hyperextension. Trae Young, after missing the last two games with a bone bruise in his right foot, will play. Maybe his return will give the Hawks the lift they need to send this series to seven games.
