The Philadelphia 76ers notched a very impressive win when they beat the Portland Trail Blazers 113-103 without Joel Embiid and Tobias Harris.

Embiid missed the affair to get some added rest. Harris’ absence came as a surprise when it was revealed close to tip-off that he would have to sit out due to the league’s health and safety protocols.

Despite missing their two leaders, the Sixers were able to take care of business thanks to a total team effort.

In the latest episode of Sixers Daily, Paul Hudirck joins Jas Kang to break down why the Sixers were able to beat the Damian Lillard-led Blazers.

Paul and Jas discuss:

  • Why Seth Curry has been so good early in the season.
  • The additions of Georges Niang and Andre Drummond and why they are looking like great bargain deals.
  • If Doc Rivers coaches better when his squad is dealing with some adversity.
  • The Ben Simmons situation and why it seems like it’s slowly fading into the background.
