Tonight, the Sixers played a solid game from start to finish and defeated an 8-man Miami Heat team, 125-108.

For the Sixers, Tobias Harris, Shake Milton and Matisse Thybulle returned from their COVID contact-tracing-induced absences.

The story of the night was Milton, who scored 31 points on only 15 shots en route to a game-high +24. Shake was in control from the moment he stepped on the court.

Ben Simmons tallied a triple double with 10 points, 12 assists and 10 rebounds, as Harris scored an efficient 18 points in his return.

Joel Embiid was able to ease through this one after his gargantuan performance carried the Sixers to victory on Tuesday. The big man scored 9 points on only 8 shots in only 24 minutes.

Tyrese Maxey started especially hot in the game and ended with 15 points.

Final Sixers thought: Isaiah Joe looks like a real rotation player. Tonight he scored 12 points off the bench on 4-8 from 3. He’s got no conscience from downtown and is a willing defender — he fits the mold of the type of guy the Sixers need off the bench.

Very nice win that the Sixers kept out of the danger zone for the entire second half.

Next up for the Sixers is a meeting in Memphis with the Grizzlies on Saturday night. We’ll see you then.
