More basketball? Don’t mind if I do.

NBA basketball finally returned to our lives yesterday to great acclaim.

Lou Williams is still, to use the internet parlance, a bucket. The Denver Nuggets channeled Elton Brand’s deepest desires and started Nikola Jokic at point guard and 7-foot-2 Bol Bol at small forward. Bol dropped 16 points, 10 rebounds, and six blocks, as Sixers fans tried to look up the season stats for “Cash Considerations” on Basketball Reference. Aside from Brooklyn and Washington running out G League-level squads, the quality of play was pretty darn good considering the circumstances.

So let’s run it back! Here’s today’s scrimmage schedule with four more games on tap:

Giannis will be in action and I’m sure Sixers fans will be interested in how sharp the Eastern Conference favorite Milwaukee Bucks look. Having gotten much healthier over the layoff, Portland has experienced a lot of buzz as a team to watch, but they still have a huge hole to climb sitting 3.5 game back of 8th-place Memphis. The Blazers will take on a Pacers team Sixers fans will be watching closely, and not just for T.J. McConnell-related reasons. Past installments of Luka vs. LeBron were fun, and tonight provides the added chaos of J.R. Smith and Dion Waiters playing for a team with championship aspirations. Finally, you can have Dario back in your lives, even if just for a short while.

Enjoy the action and follow along in the comments.
