Joel Embiid has not suited up for the Sixers’ last five games after suffering a shoulder injury against the Cleveland Cavaliers on February 26th. Fortunately for the Sixers though, Embiid was upgraded to “questionable” on Tuesday’s injury report and now Kyle Neubeck of Philly Voice is reporting that Joel Embiid is available to play against the Detroit Pistons Wednesday evening.
Joel Embiid is available tonight.

The Sixers could certainly use Joel back after going 1-3 to start the month of March with some poor defensive play. It will be a bittersweet night though. Embiid has put out some of his most entertaining performances against the Pistons — mostly because he has a lot of fun trolling Andre Drummond. Drummond, however, is no longer a Piston after being dealt to the Cleveland Cavaliers at February’s trade deadline. Sad!
If Embiid is indeed a go tonight, he won’t be the only Sixer returning from injury. Josh Richardson is also expected to play against Detroit after missing the previous three games with a concussion.
