Seth Curry, above all, offers 3PT shooting. There’s a case to be made he is the one of two or three very best 3PT shooters in the NBA, shooting 45% from beyond the arc in 3 of the last 4 seasons. The Sixers certainly could use that. If it was a straight swap of Richardson for Curry, I think it’s a no brainer for the Sixers, as Richardson was always likely to split after his contract expired at the end of this upcoming season. However, including pick 36 took me a bit by surprise, though I suppose Dallas needs some extra incentive taking on the risk of losing J-Rich (plus Curry having a very friendly contract). In any event, Seth Curry is going to have a lot of fun playing with Ben Simmons and Joel Embiid. His game complements the two stars in a big way. Great pick up for the Sixers from a fit perspective.
