The longest season in NBA history could be coming to an end tonight. Up 3-1 in the series, the Los Angeles Lakers will be looking to close out the Miami Heat and secure the franchise’s 17th NBA championship. In honoring the late Kobe Bryant, the Lakers have opted to wear their “Black Mamba” jerseys for tonight’s game. LA is 4-0 in the playoffs when they wear those uniforms, including a win in Game 2 of these Finals.
Anthony Davis: "We never want to lose in the Mamba jerseys."

We’ll see if Jimmy Butler can will his team to another victory, but with the Lakers listed as seven-point favorites, chances are we’ll see the Larry O’Brien Trophy carted out tonight. Leading all players in the series in scoring (27.8) and rebounding (11.0), and second only to Jimmy Butler in assists (8.5 to Buckets’ 10.0), LeBron James is the heavy favorite to take home his fourth Finals MVP award. He would be the first player in NBA history to win the award with three different teams.
Tune in tonight and follow along in the comments as we potentially witness history.
