Can the Summer Sixers move to 2-0?

NBA: Summer League-Philadelphia 76ers at Milwaukee Bucks Stephen R. Sylvanie-USA TODAY Sports

Following last night’s earthquake, both venues for Vegas Summer League were inspected by structural engineers and deemed safe to open, allowing today’s games to proceed as scheduled. The basketball gods are now calling upon natural disasters to try and bring down another Sixers rookie, but they will overcome!

The Summer Sixers opened summer league play yesterday with a 107-106 victory over Milwaukee. They’ll now go up against the Celtics, who will be taking the floor for the first time this week in Vegas. Boston’s first-round pick Romeo Langford will not be playing following offseason thumb surgery, but Grant Williams and Carsen Edwards will both be in action to show Sixers fans what a non-trade-up scenario might have looked like for the team. Per Vegas Summer League rules, whoever wins today, wins the trade!

Follow all the action here as the Summer Sixers look to remain undefeated.
