The Philadelphia 76ers and Raul Neto have reached an agreement on a one-year, veteran minimum deal, according to Shams Charania of The Atheltic.

Raul Neto is no All-Star, but given their cap position and the price of Neto’s contract, this is a solid signing for the Sixers at this stage of the game. If I were Elton Brand, I would be active in the trade market over the upcoming season, looking to land another point guard. But Neto’s signing should produce a sigh of relief from Brett Brown: Neto should fit nicely into a 2nd unit point guard role from the jump.
