The Sixers will get Atlanta's 2020 second, the best of ATL/CHA/BKN 2023 2nd, and 57th pick this year in exchange for No. 34 tonight, source says— Kyle Neubeck (@KyleNeubeck) June 21, 2019
Many folks in Philadelphia were likely crushed when Carsen Edwards was taken with that 33rd pick by the Celtics, but plenty of potential first-round grade talent was still on the board, highlighted by intriguing prospect Bol Bol.
Getting two future picks, including the best of three teams’ picks in 2023, isn’t terrible as far as optionality goes, but 33 and 34 were juicy spots in this draft, and the Sixers not coming away with a player in either of those positions is disappointing. More to come.
