The three 2018-2019 All-NBA teams have been released today by the NBA. The two MVP front-runners, Giannis Antetokounmpo and James Harden were both unanimously selected to the first team. Joel Embiid was the lone Sixer to make one of the lists. The announcement comes a day after Embiid was named to the NBA’s All-Defensive Second Team for the second consecutive season. While Embiid may have had a legit claim at the ALL-NBA First Team earlier in the year, Nikola Jokic of the Denver Nuggets was able to remain healthier than Embiid as the regular season grind wore on and Jokic earned the nod.
The first team is comprised of:
- Giannis Antetokounmpo, Milwaukee Bucks
- James Harden, Houston Rockets
- Steph Curry, Golden State Warriors
- Paul George, Oklahoma City Thunder
- Nikola Jokic, Denver Nuggets
ALL-NBA Second Team
- Joel Embiid, Philadelphia 76ers
- Kevin Durant, Golden State Warriors
- Damian Lillard, Portland Trailblazers
- Kawhi Leonard, Toronto Raptors
- Kyrie Irving, Boston Celtics
All-NBA Third Team
- Russell Westbrook, Oklahoma City Thunder
- Blake Griffin, Detroit Pistons
- LeBron James, Los Angeles Lakers
- Rudy Gobert, Utah Jazz
- Kemba Walker, Charlotte Hornets
