Sixers vs. Wizards Injury Report: Richardson out

NBA: Miami Heat at Philadelphia 76ers Eric Hartline-USA TODAY Sports

Sixers

Josh Richardson

Josh Richardson is out with right hamstring tightness. This will mark the 4th consecutive game Richardson misses due to the ailment. I would expect Furkan Korkmaz to start in place of Richardson, as he has in the last three games. The good news is that Richardson practiced on Tuesday and may be nearing a return.

Shake Milton

Shake Milton had been experiencing hip soreness but he is listed as probable for tonight’s game.

Kyle O’Quinn

Kyle O’Quinn is active and has been for the previous two games (vs. Indiana Pacers & Utah Jazz), after missing three games with a calf strain. He did not, however, play in either of those games. Tonight could be his first game back in action since the Sixers defeated the Miami Heat on November 23rd.

Zhaire Smith (on assignment), Jonah Bolden (on assignment), Marial Shayok (two-way), and Norvel Pelle (two-way) are with the Delaware Blue Coats of the G League.

Wizards

John Wall

John Wall is inactive. He’s been out of action since December 26th of last year after an accident in his house resulted in a ruptured Achilles tendon.

Jordan McRae

Jordan McRae is out. He’s sidelined for at least two weeks after having surgery to remove a pin from his finger.

Thomas Bryant

Thomas Bryant is inactive. He was diagnosed with a stress reaction in his left foot on December 3rd. He is to be re-evaluated in three weeks.

Ian Mahinmi

Ian Mahinmi is questionable with a right Achilles strain. He is yet to play at all this season and is currently day-to-day.

Moritz Wagner

Moritz Wagner is questionable with a left ankle sprain. If Wagner and Mahinmi both can’t go on top of Bryant’s absence, the Wizards are are pretty much out of options that could credibly matchup with Joel Embiid. They’ll be playing very small.

C.J. Miles

C.J. Miles is out as he rehabs from surgery to repair ligament damage in his left wrist.

Chris Chiozza (two-way) and Garrison Mathews (two-way) are with the Capital City Go-Go.
