Shake Milton could make his return from a knee injury Tuesday evening against the Cleveland Cavaliers, being listed as probable according to Serena Winters of NBC Sports Philadelphia. Winters also reported that Ben Simmons and Trey Burke are both questionable for the game against the Cavs.
Injury updates:— Serena Winters (@SerenaWinters) November 12, 2019
Trey Burke is QUESTIONABLE (left calf tightness).
Shake Milton is PROBABLE (bone bruise and mild sprain, left knee)
Ben Simmons still questionable (shoulder sprain).
Still time for statuses to be updated before tipoff.
Milton has not played since the Sixers’ October 28th game against the Atlanta Hawks — poor timing for Milton, who seemed to be showing signs of a wing contributor. In Milton’s absence, Furkan Korkmaz has stepped up, averaging 13.8 points (50.9%/50.0%/75.0%) in 25.4 minutes per game. Regardless of Korkmaz storming into relevancy, the Sixers would do well to incorporate another wing into their rotation.
We’ll update this post until gametime should the status of any Sixer change.
