After a mundane start, an epic Summer comeback led by Furkan Korkmaz (19/4) and Jonah Bolden (13/8) was enough to topple Christian Wood (27/12 and 5 blocks) and the Bucks.
The game had a thrilling finish as Furkan scored 8 points in the closing minutes including drawing a charge to get the Sixers the ball back with under a minute left and down 2. The Bucks had a chance to take the lead on a SOB, but the play was sniffed out by Jonah Bolden who rotated over and intercepted the pass intended for Christian Wood.
Zhaire Smith also had solid contributions as he finished with 8/5/2 and continues to show fans why Brett Brown sought after him so heavily.
The Sixers will face off against the winner of Utah and Memphis on Sunday at 8 pm.
