It’s finally here: 2018 NBA Free Agency.

LeBron has yet to make (or maybe just announce) a decision on where he’ll be playing basketball next season — remain hopeful people. Paul George has agreed to the four-year max, with a contract valued at $137 million. Chris Paul and the Rockets banged out a $160 million agreement. Ex-Sixers Marco Belinelli and Ersan Ilyasova have found new homes, signing with the Spurs and the Bucks, respectively.

Two players from my personal free agent plan b wish list have already been scooped up, as Trevor Ariza has agreed to a one-year, $15 million deal with the Suns and Ed Davis has signed a one-year, $4.4 million deal with the Nets.

The Sixers are reportedly interested in Kyle O’Quinn, a fine option as a 2nd unit center. It’s possible though, that the Sixers will remain patient until the LBJ domino to falls. The Lakers lost out on Paul George. And the Lakers are having a tough time prying Kawhi Leonard from the Spurs. If the Lakers aren’t able to add serious star power, LA may become an unappealing destination for LeBron. By default, that could increase the chances of the Sixers and LeBron linking up.
