The 76ers drafted Shake Milton after acquiring the 54th pick of the 2018 NBA Draft on Thursday night. Philadelphia traded the 56th and 60th overall picks to the Dallas Mavericks to jump up two spots.

Milton, a 6’5” wing from SMU, was expected to be an early second round pick but had to sweat it out before seeing his name on the board late in the draft. He averaged 18 points per game in his final season as a Mustang. You can find Kevin Rice’s full prospect breakdown of Milton here.

He excels as a catch-and-shoot player and finished his collegiate career shooting 42.7 percent from beyond the arc. According to NBA.com, Milton actually made a higher percentage of his 3-pointers guarded (43.4) than he did unguarded (38.9).
