Start times for Games 1-4 of Sixers/Celtics series have been set

First, let’s take a moment of silence to acknowledge the death of commentary by Marc Zumoff & Alaa Abdelnaby for the remainder of the playoffs, as NBCSP will no longer be airing playoff games.

Next, let’s do a little bitching.

I hate the Games 3 & 4 start times. 5:00 pm on a Saturday is no man’s land. Make it afternoon or evening, not late afternoon/early evening. Just a really funky time to start the game. Game 4 starting at 6:00 pm is also annoying. Why is this happening? Everyone in a major city on the east coast is going to have trouble getting home from work for the start of Game 4. I work from home, if you can call it that, and even I may have trouble getting in front of the TV by 6:00 pm on a Monday.

Ok, I’m done complaining. Now that you know the start times, plan accordingly. You want to be comfortable and have the correct amount of food and alcohol in front of you for these games. There’s no excuse for missing even a second of this upcoming series.
