Joel Embiid – (orbital bone fracture, left eye) is doubtful for tomorrow night’s game at Miami.
Embiid made waves earlier this week when he posted this Instagram story following Monday night’s loss at home

When coach Brett Brown was asked today as to whether or not he was optimistic about the chances that Joel would play tomorrow, he responded “I am not really anything. I am completely neutral, and we’ll coach and plan and think like that until someone tells me otherwise.”
This isn’t necessarily a surprising answer, as Brown’s primary focus is on tomorrow’s game and limiting the amount of distractions that might get in the way of his teams preparation. But there is growing cause for concern that Embiid and the Sixers aren’t on the same page, and that the All-Star’s frustration could have an adverse affect on the teams performance in his absence.
Embiid’s status is sure to be the most heavily scrutinized topic around the Sixers over the course of the next 24-odd hours leading up to tomorrow’s game, and we will provide context in the event that any further developments are announced.
