A site announcement: Liberty Ballers watch party

In just 15 days, the Sixers will travel to Boston to take on the Celtics for Philly’s first game of the 2018-2019 season. While the ideal scenario to tip-off the season would be a home game, Liberty Ballers would like to ensure you have a way to experience the game with the same sense of excitement and community that comes along with seeing a game at the Wells Fargo Center. With that being said, Liberty Ballers is ecstatic to announce that, with the help of our friends and gracious hosts over at the Misconduct Tavern, we are organizing a watch party for the Sixers’ 2018 season opener!

Members of our staff will be convening at Misconduct Tavern’s 1511 Locust St. location on the evening of October 16th for the Sixers’ game, and we would love for the Liberty Ballers community to join us en masse. You can come out, have yourself a bite to eat, wash it down with a few beverages and take in the first game of the season joined by a family of Sixers fans. We couldn’t think of a better way to kick off the new season.

Over the next few days, we will be releasing more details on the event, including drink specials, event start time, and maybe even a few pre-game activities. But at this time, the main details are as follows:

Why: Because we care about Sixers basketball, juuust a bit too much?
