Sixers vs Bucks Game Preview and Start Time

No Giannis or Brogdon for the Bucks tonight. Which kinda stinks.

NBA: Milwaukee Bucks at Philadelphia 76ers Eric Hartline-USA TODAY Sports

The Philadelphia 76ers are HAWT.

Ever since Lil B Based God gave the “Phillydelphia 76ers” his blessing, they are 6-0 on American soil and are doing something they haven’t been able to do all season: not totally implode.

We all witnessed the 22-point meltdown in London, but in their latest two games, the Sixers have held off late runs from the Eastern Conference’s two best teams two get themselves back above .500.

Tonight, they will take on the Milwaukee Bucks, who are 4-6 since the New Year and have had their fair share of struggles for a young team. Head coach Jason Kidd has an… interesting hypothesis on their struggles:

I know Brett gets a lot of heat for what he does/doesn’t do with this team, but Jason Kidd just kind of admitted to not being able to coach young players.

Anyway, this game won’t be as fun because Milwaukee will be without their star Giannis Antetokounmpo, and role player Malcolm Brogdon. Embiid and Giannis have only squared off once in their young careers thus far. In Embiid’s lone game against the Bucks 369 days ago, he posted 22 and 12 with 5 blocks and snagged a road win in the midst of the iconic January, 2017.

That game also prompted the “shithole” Instagram picture:

Thursday was a very good day for Joel...

  • He was named to his first All-Star team despite only having played 63rd game of his career
  • He willed the Sixers to victory over the Celtics
  • He rejected Rihanna on national television

Expect him to keep the train rolling as he’s going to be fronted by John Henson (who?) for most of the game.

Other Big Stories:

#NotMyRookieOfTheYear Malcom Brogdon is averaging 13/3/3 which once again is inferior to Dario’s 13/5/3 and Joel’s 23/10/3. Embiid is leading all imaginary vote getters in Sophomore of the Year voting. Malcom isn’t playing tonight, but I still felt it necessary to continue the vendetta against Brogodon.

This is a hot Sixers team playing against a depleted Bucks team. WE GOTTA WIN THIS.

No Jerryd Bayless tonight means TLC and Justin Anderson will get a lot of run; might even see some James Young.
