Markelle Fultz says the only time he’s been in love was with... Chick Fil A

Markelle Fultz is just 19 years old—word to Jahlil Okafor—so he still has plenty of time left to find that special someone. But as it turns out, he already has his eyes set on one vixen in particular: Chick Fil A.

At least, that’s what he told Sports Illustrated’s Rohan Nadkarni, who asked a bunch of the members of this year’s rookie class about whether they’d ever been in love before. There were some heartfelt answers in the bunch, but Fultz took the question in stride, confessing food is the real way to his heart.

At this point, I sincerely hope he’s pushing for a sponsorship deal, because all the free publicity he’s giving them is priceless. I also hope his diet consists of something other than Chick Fil A, lest he turn into a bigger version of Khalid El Amin overnight.

Just try to make sure you’re balancing out those chicken sandwiches with some work on the treadmill, my dude.
