Markelle Fultz made his debut as a member of the Philadelphia 76ers in Utah Summer League action Monday night, and didn’t take long to make his impact.
On the first possession of the game, Fultz took a handoff, dribbled into the paint, then caught Jaylen Brown with an up-and-under move to score a beautiful first field goal.

He quickly followed that up with a straight away three off another ball screen.
Using the screen, Markelle Fultz makes it look easy. 2/10 from NBA range in college (h/t @colezwicker) pic.twitter.com/0hXrrZeDPn

Thus far, the Sixers are experimenting with him playing on ball, and next to Larry Drew II.
On defense, Fultz also had two blocks in his first stint as a pro, something he did very well while he was at Washington.
So in Fultz’s first six minutes as a pro, he tallied five points on 2-3 shooting, one rebound and one block. I think Sixers fans can get very used to watching him play, and Celtics fans will quickly wish they could too.
