Jimmy Butler was introduced as a member of the Minnesota Timberwolves during a press conference at the Mall of America on Thursday. After being asked about people questioning his leadership with the Chicago Bulls, Butler said that anyone with a problem can give him a call. Then he proceeded to tell the world his phone number.

He really wasn’t kidding about answering calls though. Butler posted a video on his Instagram of him FaceTiming with a random fan, before telling him he had to go because he had “a thousand FaceTimes to answer”.
He’s probably going to need a new phone in the near future, or at least a second one.
Here’s what else happened on Thursday:
Whatever! Also, LaVar calling Jerry Colangelo a helicopter parent is the definition of the pot calling the kettle black.
The Hawks are starting to trend downward. They traded Dwight Howard for scraps, are likely to lose Paul Millsap in free agency and will just be left with Dennis Schroder and his band of misfits.
But a bar, a barbershop and two suites with Top Golf simulators in them should at least keep people coming out to the games. Whether they’ll actually watch the Hawks play is another story.
Knicks misspelled top draft pick Frank Ntilikina’s last name by 3 letters - Tim Cato, SB Nation
Phil Jackson being gone still won’t stop the Knicks from being an absolute mess.
Instagram beef is so much more fun than Twitter beef. It’s also a lot harder to monitor. You can lose the argument in a sea of comments; can’t do that in a timeline. Instagram will be the new frontier in petty NBA player arguments.
Blake Griffin, Paul Millsap to visit Suns after free agency opens - ESPN
The Los Angeles Times reported Griffin would meet with the Suns on Saturday, and 98.7 FM Arizona Sports said Millsap would talk with Phoenix on Sunday.
Sources told ESPN's Ramona Shelburne that Griffin has strong interest in the Suns.
Multiple sources told Shelburne that while the Clippers are focused on retaining him in the wake of the trade of Chris Paul, there's some question as to whether they would offer the full max of $175 million.
Oddly enough, Griffin listed Phoenix of all places in his Mt. Rushmore of NBA cities, so maybe it’s not out of the question he lands there.
Today’s a big day for Gerald Henderson
Gerald Henderson will receive his full $9 million salary if not waived on or before 6/30. Will get $1 million if he is waived by tomorrow.

Expect him to be waived.
