Report: Sixers to work out Markelle Fultz on Saturday

MARKELLE FULTZ WATCH: DAY TWO

Bob Cooney of the Philadelphia Daily News is reporting that Markelle Fultz will work out for the Sixers today:

I can’t get contain my excitement for this after the Sixers got in “serious talks” with the Celtics about trading up for the top pick in next week’s draft. I’m cautiously optimistic, but the fact that Fultz is actually working out for the team makes me feel like this could actually be happening. Cross your fingers, ladies and gentleman. The trajectory of the entire Sixers franchise could be changing this weekend.

After all the anger of missing out on top prospects over the years from Karl-Anthony Towns to D’Angelo Russell to Andrew Wiggins, it feels like all of those “wasted” years of following and covering this team are not in vain.

Let’s just hope this doesn’t drag out until Draft Night or Sixers Twitter may not survive.
