Watch Joel Embiid read ‘Mean Tweets’ on Jimmy Kimmel Live

Long live JoJo.

Being a part of Jimmy Kimmel’s “Mean Tweets” segment is basically a rite of passage for famous people. So big ups to our boy Joel Embiid, who is now important enough to be immortalized in the series, even if it’s below the usual standard of humor for the young center.

These tweets sort of show the absurd nature of the backlash athletes face from the public; I mean seriously, who the hell is comparing Caron Butler to Hitler? Unless we’re talking about Clyde Frazier, I guess, because my man really does need to get a new wardrobe, and that’s word to Kevin Garnett (RIP Craig Sager).

But it’s always great to see the jovial side of Embiid, who is one of the most magnetic athletes on the planet in 2017. Embiid’s cameo was brief—insert your joke about the amount of games he has played here—but we need more of comic relief JoJo from here on out.
