NBA All-Star Weekend: Rising Stars Challenge Game Thread

Watch Dario Saric and Jahlil Okafor represent for the Sixers in the 2017 BBVA Compass Rising Stars Challenge.

NBA: Philadelphia 76ers at Orlando Magic Kim Klement-USA TODAY Sports

After the always entertaining All-Star Celebrity game, Dario Saric and Jahlil Okafor will take the floor to represent the Philadelphia 76ers in the BBVA Rising Stars Challenge. Joel Embiid was also set to participate, but due to injury was replaced by the Oklahoma City Thunder’s Alex Abrines.

Since the theme of the game is U.S. vs. World, Saric and Okafor will be on different squad for tonight’s game. This is the three year the NBA has used this format, and the all-time series currently sits at 1-1.

Team U.S. won last year 157-154, and Zach LaVine was named MVP for dropping 30 points. Tonight’s game should be another close one, as both sides seem rather evenly matched.

Here are the rosters, courtesy of NBA.com:

U.S. Team Roster

Devin Booker (Suns)

Malcolm Brogdon (Bucks)

Marquese Chriss (Suns)

Brandon Ingram (Lakers)
