With only one minute left in tonight’s Cavs/Sixers game, Robert Covington saved a ball going out of bounds, fell over a patron sitting in the front row, and landed hard on the ground behind the seats. He stayed down for a while. Alaa Abdelnaby reported that he heard Covington’s “lower back hit a sharp edge.” Molly Sullivan reported that a “sharp metal base” is what Covington landed on.

Before leaving the game, Cov was playing extremely well on both sides, and if he missed any significant time, the team will feel it. Hard. We’ll update when we know more.
