David Fizdale Gushes About Ben Simmons

Sixers fans aren’t the only ones who have been impressed with Ben Simmons this pre-season. Following the Sixers’ loss to the Memphis Grizzlies, David Fizdale (he of, “Take that for data!” fame), came away dazzled by the Sixers’ young forward.

When asked for his thoughts on Simmons, Fizdale responded:

Oh my god, I don’t want to see that for the next 15 years. That kid, they’re not talking about him enough — the way he moves with the ball, his ability to see the floor, the way he can get places on the floor.

Then once he gets confidence in his shot where you really got to close out on him to the three… Wow, he’s a big-time talent.

We can only hope that he’s right, and the Sixers will be benefitting from Simmons’ prodigious skills for quite some time still to come.
