The Sixers held their annual Beach Bash at Jack's Place in Avalon yesterday, and despite being joined by fellow rookies Ben Simmons and Timothe Luwawu, Joel Embiid found a way to steal the day. One of the many activities at the Beach Bash gave fans the opportunity to play a casual one-on-one game against the Sixers' members in attendance. Embiid could not have taken it any more seriously than he did.
Matched up against a small lad who is barely tall enough to reach Joel's knee caps, the no. 3 overall pick in 2014 did something unfathomable to the boy: he swatted the soul out of him. Let's look at it from all angles.

Hopefully the kid doesn’t need any counseling after that.
Joel then sat down at the autograph table, and started signing items with “Trust The Process” on it.

The Sixers first preseason game is October 4. Joel Embiid is expected to play. It can’t come quick enough.
