Philadelphia 76ers fans are ready to watch Joel Embiid play basketball. Joel Embiid is ready to play basketball. Any questions?
All retorts can wait until after you finish watching this compilation of workout clips, courtesy of Embiid's Twitter feed:

The questions: Are we sure it's fair that someone that huge can do these things? Do you see the Dirk Nowitzki-esque, one-leg fadeaway at :13? Can we be certain he's cleared for through-the-legs dunks after a prior attempt preceded his second foot surgery? Is there any way to dial down the hype for the big fella's debut?
The answers: No, Hell Yes, Who Cares, No.
"If Embiid is healthy" has been associated with equal parts dread and hope for Sixers fans the last three seasons. Perhaps it's time to start shedding the former in favor of the latter. Joel Embiid is coming, and he isn't messing around.
UPDATE: Additional footage, courtesy of trainer Drew Hanlen. The hype is real.
