According to Keith Pompey, Simmons flew out to Salt Lake City for Utah Summer League Saturday evening, and both players should be at Sunday's practice before their first game on Monday.
All Simmons had to do was put pen to paper to make his signing officially; Luwawu-Cabarrot had some extra hoops to jump through. The 21-year-old Frenchman first had to get out of his contract with Serbian club Mega Leks, and his announcement as a member of the Sixers means his $650,000 buyout has already been paid.
