As if Philadelphia wasn't already excited enough to welcome Ben Simmons to Philadelphia, the Aussie point-forward teased Sixers fans with an endorsement of a team slogan from the last few years of rebuilding.

With that formal lede out of the way, my earnest reaction: MOTHERFUCKING BEN SIMMONS TRUSTS THE PROCESS!

We've passed the "when there's smoke, there's fire" phase of the festivities and moved onto "the house is literally burning down around us." Simmons is going to be a member of the Sixers in two days, so start pre-ordering your jerseys and working on your fake Australian accents.

After all the speculation surrounding Simmons' desire to play in Philadelphia, the last 48 hours or so have killed the noise. Simmons is emphatic about being the No. 1 pick, and the team in possession of it is poised to take him.
