The Sixers are hosting another round of workouts today, highlighted by a French sensation and a five-star recruit who got lost in the shuffle at Kentucky.

Isaia Cordinier
Alex Caruso
Daniel Hamilton
Brandon Austin
Rosco Allen
Alex Poythress
Isaia Cordinier was an exciting name to see pop up on this list. He has rather quickly become a favorite target for Sixers fans with one of their latter first-round picks thanks to his combination of athleticism and three-point shooting, and his potential as a potential stash would allow him to fit into Bryan Colangelo's supposed plan for the offseason. Cordinier can be snatched up with one of 24 or 26 and remain in France in the immediate term, allowing Colangelo to pick up and intriguing talent without adding another developing player to the current group.
Kentucky's Alex Poythress has been a personal favorite of mine to watch the last four years, but his inclusion in this group shows how far he's fallen since his high-school recruitment. He's a menace in transition and a versatile defender, but injuries and the rotational glut at UK made it difficult for him to develop any sort of role on the offensive end. His shooting mechanics probably rule him out as a Sixers candidate.
I'm not especially jazzed up about any of the other guys, though Daniel Hamilton is an interesting prospect at the very least. If he were to improve his shooting, he brings a solid dose of playmaking and elite rebounding skills to the table from the two-guard spot, but that's a reasonably large "if" at this point. Provided he doesn't get snatched up by a team somewhere in the second, I think he'd be a nice target for Summer League / training camp.
Otherwise, it's probably Cordinier or bust from this group. The NBA definitely needs another version of the name Isaia/Isiah/Isaiah in the league so I can hesitate anytime I go to type out his first name.
