The Liberty Ballers community loves some shooting and defense. Baylor forward Taurean Prince won the 16th spot on the Community Big Board thanks to his performance in those two areas, locking down 26 percent of the vote to beat out Skal Labissiere (19 percent) and Jakob Poeltl (18 percent).
Voting philosophy has skewed toward players who might fit alongside the Sixers current roster and (assumed) No. 1 pick Ben Simmons. That leaves us in the late teens with a few talented bigs still left on the board, forcing a choice between "best player available" and more natural implementation into the team.
Poeltl has probably been the best player available for some time now, but he's a near impossible fit into the already crowded frontcourt. Deyonta Davis was a later entry in the polls, but he brings a tantalizing touch and rim-running/shot-blocking skills that are crucial for any team.
We're going nuts and adding two players this afternoon, and one addition should be a familiar name to most Philadelphians. DeAndre Bembry did a little bit of everything for St. Joe's this past season and really distinguished himself during scrimmages at the NBA Draft Combine. The jumper still has to come a long way, but he does enough of everything else to stick in the league.
Washington's Dejounte Murray, frequently connected to the Sixers by mock drafters, is the other name added to the poll. He's a fluid athlete and a box-score stuffer, but like Bembry has issues shooting the rock from deep.
Sound off and make your case for your guy below.
