Another big name NBA talent from Philadelphia is set to compete with Liberty Ballers in the $2 million The Basketball Tournament this summer. Strawberry Mansion High School graduate and 8-year NBA Veteran combo guard Ronald "Flip" Murray agreed to terms with LB late last night, and will join us for our first game on July 16th at Philadelphia University.
Murray played for the Milwaukee Bucks, Seattle SuperSonics, Cleveland Cavaliers, Detroit Pistons, Indiana Pacers, Atlanta Hawks, Charlotte Bobcats, and Chicago Bulls from 2002-2010. He averaged 9.9 points and 2.3 assists per game. Murray also known for completely abusing former Sixer Lou Williams with this absolute poster of a dunk.
Wednesday at 12 p.m. is the deadline to get your votes in for our team, so if you want to see Flip Murray and John Salmons take the floor at least one more time, please take 30 seconds and throw us a vote.
