Brett Brown Talks About Representing the Sixers at NBA Draft Lottery

New, comments

Do it for the 'Gram, coach.

Eight days separate the Sixers and their fans from the 2016 NBA Draft Lottery, and their newly-named representative, Coach Brett Brown, took a moment to speak about the opportunity.

The team shared Brown's statement via their official Instagram page:

You'll notice some footage from last year's lottery party at Buffalo Wild Wings spliced into Brown's message, and the hope this time around will be for even more jubilant reaction at Xfinity Live. Joel Embiid was the choice I was pulling for, but given what the coach has been through it would be pretty sweet to see Brown's immediate reaction if luck favors the Sixers.

As Jake F. noted this morning, Sharone Wright was the draft haul the last time the Sixers sent a coach to the lottery. The Sixers sit in better position this time around, so let's hope it works out considerably better next Tuesday.
