According to Keith Pompey, vice president of player personnel Marc Eversley, head coach Brett Brown and majority owner Joshua Harris were among the members of the Sixers brass who traveled to New York to see Duke's Brandon Ingram, Kentucky's Jamal Murray and Orangeville Prep's Thon Maker. The three were participating in a workout put on by their agency, Excel Sports Management. From Pompey:
The workout itself is of little importance in terms of scouting Ingram or Murray, but this is likely one of the few times the Sixers have been able to watch Maker in person. He's currently projected as a second round pick, but there may be a team out there willing to take a shot on his raw talent at the end of the first round. Philadelphia has two picks in the 20s.
