Sights And Sounds From The Liberty Ballers/Rights To Ricky Sanchez Lottery Party

What a night!

Brad Penner-USA TODAY Sports

Over 2,000 people packed XFINITY Live last for the Liberty Ballers/Rights To Ricky Sanchez NBA Draft Lottery Party, by far our largest event in the three years we've been celebrating the Sixers quest for the top pick. The past two years have not been as kind to us as originally hoped for, so the air was filled with nervous tension right up until the big announcement.

To get the good juju flowing in the building, a random Process truster was kind enough to light some candles under the Smokin' Joe Frazier statue in remembrance of Sam Hinkie's tenure as Sixers general manager.

It also wouldn't be a LB/RTRS affiliated event without a little bit of chanting.

We were also graced with the presence of multiple prominent guests. Former Eagles linebacker and current WIP radio host Ike Reese stopped by to express his support.

Process distrusters Howard Eskin and Sports Illustrated's Andrew Sharp also showed their faces, and were met with the only greeting they deserved: thunderous boos. Eskin also had a message of his own for the Sixers faithful.

Then 8 p.m rolled around, and after two commercial breaks before announcing any picks (which was absolutely preposterous), it was time to announce where the Sixers pick would land. The rest is history. Enjoy these video clips taken from multiple locations throughout XFINITY Live.

While we certainly supplied the party, we weren't the only ones enjoying this victory. Sixers employees and both current and former players alike shared their excitement via social media.

What a night to remember. For everyone who came out to the party last night, thank you for your continued support of the website/podcast. None of this would be possible without you. If you couldn't make it out, you were still there in spirit. A big thank you is also in order to XFINITY Live for allowing us to host the event at their establishment.

Enjoy this day, Sixers fans. We deserve it.
