Sam Hinkie Is Gone: Two Sixers Podcasts

New, comments

if not now, when?

Bill Streicher-USA TODAY Sports

I'm sentimental about everything right now, so I'll keep this brief. Sam Hinkie has resigned from the Sixers and been replaced by somebody's kid. There will be better analysis from all sorts of people and places, but for now, we have two reactionary podcasts. Formerly enemies (not really), but tonight working in unison to mourn the Sixers as we knew them, and their heel-turn into the unknown.

Here are Derek Bodner, Rich Hofmann, and Max Rappaport of Sixers Beat:

And a much less cohesive Spike Eskin and myself on The Rights To Ricky Sanchez, trying to figure out where we go from here.

Though the Sixers front office could not get out of its own way in determining the power structure, it's nice to see two podcasts recognize each other in the same blog post. The Process might be dead, but progress is not. Not here.

I don't know what I'm saying, I'm so sad. Sorry about all the rambling. The Lottery Party is going to be something.
