If you don't watch the Sixers game tonight, no one will blame you. March Madness kicked off earlier today so you have a perfectly valid excuse. The NCAA Tournament is one of the best sports events of the year and if you don't want to miss out on it, we understand.
But if you're TRULY dedicated to The Process, you'll be here watching the Sixers game against the Washington Wizards instead. Philadelphia enters this game on a two-game losing streak. They aren't looking so hot, especially after getting beaten so badly by the Nets in Brooklyn. The Wizards, meanwhile, have crushed their last two opponents by a combined score of 241-177.
A Sixers win here would be nice. Philadelphia is 4.5 games ahead of the Lakers in the Tank Standings so they have plenty of breathing room. And do you really want the Wizards to go for the 4-0 series sweep over the Sixers this season? No, you don't. Plus it'd be nice to see the Sixers finally get to the double-digit win mark.
Unfortunately for the Sixers they won't be at full strength. Robert Covington and Richaun Holmes aren't expected to return until early next week. Expect to see your fair share of veterans Carl Landry and Elton Brand.
The good news is that you have a backup plan if tonight's game gets ugly, which it might. Just turn on March Madness and watch some college players that might be playing for the Sixers in the future.
