Final call: support the local Boys & Girls Club by buying Sixers-Timberwolves tickets

Your last opportunity to catch a Sixers game AND do a good deed.

NBA: Philadelphia 76ers at Minnesota Timberwolves Brace Hemmelgarn-USA TODAY Sports

Back in late November, Liberty Ballers announced a partnership with the Philadelphia 76ers for our first annual ticket drive to benefit the local Boys & Girls Club chapter.

The Sixers offered up great deals for games against the Raptors, Lakers, Nets, and Pelicans, and for every ticket you bought using the Liberty Ballers promo code, you helped send one Boys & Girls Club member to a game.

We’ve had great success with it so far, but we’re not done just yet. For one last time, you can catch a great game while also helping out a child in need when the Sixers take on the Minnesota Timberwolves on Jan. 3.

Imagine getting to see Joel Embiid, Andrew Wiggins, and Karl-Anthony Towns up close and personal while also doing a good deed at the same time! There’s nothing like it.

For those who may not recall, here’s how it works:

  • Go to Sixers.com/promo and type in the promo code “LIBERTYBALLERS”
  • Click on the Minnesota Timberwolves game for Jan. 3. (Make sure you buy the tickets prior to the date of the game, as the promo may no longer apply on the day of.)
  • You’ll have access to all available inventory, and there’s a discount too. Liberty Ballers readers will be able to buy single tickets at the group ticket rate, and pay only $2 per ticket in fees as opposed to the normal 14 percent.
  • Hit purchase, and you just helped send a member of the Boys and Girls Club to a Sixers game for free.

For those who may be interested in donating but cannot make it out to the final game, please email TroySnead@Sixers.com.

On behalf of Liberty Ballers, the Sixers, and the Boys and Girls Club, thank you all for your generosity in making this possible.
