Taking advantage of the Pelicans' situation

The Pelicans find themselves, despite having an incredible superstar, at the bottom of the league (even worse than us!).

I think we could do a trade that, once again, increases our options and invites a team to bet on themselves.

Pelicans get: Nerlens Noel

76ers get: Buddy Hield, Omer Asik (salary dump) and the right to choose two of the following three: 76ers 1st, Lakers 1st and Pelicans 1st, all in 2017 draft, and send the one we don't want to the Pelicans.

This gives us a bit of insurance in case the Lakers stay good (and therefore a pick at 10+), or get lucky (1-3).

It's also a gamble for us and the Pelicans- do they think, with essentially the best defensive front court in the league, they could avoid ending with a horrible record? Do we think they will stay bad, giving us a great pick, or could they right the ship and essentially nullify the swap between themselves and the Lakers pick?

It'd certainly give us another exciting thing to watch for the season and ensure we check in to tankathon every day.
