Once the salary-filling afterthought of the Thad Young deal with Minnesota, Sixers forward Luc Mbah a Moute appears to be moving towards a deal with the Sacramento Kings, per Woj.

Mbah a Moute quietly had a nice showing this past season. Coming into the picture known primarily as an advisor to Embiid when the youngster picked up basketball in Cameroon, he actually was a crucial cog in what evolved into the versatile, switch-heavy defense that finished in the top-half of the league in defensive efficiency.
He did draw the ire of many with ill-advised long balls and an inordinate amount of reps that could've gone to some of the younger players. But in an actual NBA rotation that isn't a cratering black hole for effective shot creation - George Karl (probably)! - such an offensive load won't be resting on his shoulders. At the very least, he's a stout defensive rotation piece with the ability to guard four positions, if not all five in small-ball lineups. He's an NBA player, and an incredibly useful one.
There's no word yet on how close the two sides are to a deal, but it may not be long. Whether you liked what he brought to the table for a rebuilding team or not, Mbah a Moute surely has positive things ahead.
