Report: Josh Richardson & Vince Hunter Have Pre-Draft Workout With Sixers

The month of May usually signals the beginning of pre-draft workouts, and with the Sixers holding several draft picks again this year, it's no surprise they've already had multiple prospects stop by PCOM. Of course, the Sixers like to hide their workout information like some sort of covert FBI operation, but these things have a tendency to leak anyway.

Courtesy of a report on Twitter, Philadelphia has worked out former UTEP forward Vince Hunter, and Tennessee guard Josh Richardson:

Hunter spent just two seasons at UTEP before opting to turn pro. In his sophomore season, he averaged 14.9 points per game on 52.6% shooting, and pulled down 9.2 rebounds per game. NBC's Rob Dauster describes the 20-year-old as "a tremendous athlete with long arms and a knack for finding his way to the glass, but where he struggles is offensively". DraftExpress ranks him 71 on their top 100 big board, and Hunter is expected to be a late second-round pick at best. You can check out some highlights of Hunter here.

Josh Richardson spent four seasons in Knoxville, and played a rather crucial role for the Vols since his sophomore year. Last season, he averaged 16.0 points per game on 46.1% shooting, and 35.9% shooting from beyond the arc. He's expected to be a two guard at the next level, and DraftExpress has the Oklahoma native ranked as the 65th best prospect in the draft. Like Hunter, he is also expected to go un-drafted. For more on Richardson, you can check out highlights here.

Hunter and Richardson join UC Davis guard Corey Hawkins as the only known draft prospects to have worked out for the Sixers thus far.
