Magic-Sixers Final Score: Philadelphia edged out by Orlando, 103-98

Close, but no cigar.

Kim Klement-USA TODAY Sports

The Sixers put up a good fight against the Orlando Magic on Sunday night but it just wasn't enough. Down three with 31 seconds left after an Isaiah Canaan shot from outside, Nerlens Noel committed a reach-in foul which allowed the Magic to go up five. Orlando then closed out the victory with a steal to seal the game. It was a good run by the Sixers at the end, but they ultimately fell short.

Philadelphia lost to the streaking Magic, now winners of three straight, by a final score of 103-98. With the loss, the Sixers are now losers of three straight. They're 12-43 on the season with 27 games to go.

Former Sixers big man Nikola Vucevic led the way for the Magic with 31 points and 14 rebounds. He was darn good. Should of kept (sic)! Willie Green (!?!) had 16 for Orlando.

Robert Covington led the Sixers in scoring with 16 points. JaKarr Sampson also had 16 off the bench, which is encouraging. Isaiah Canaan made his debut and finished with 14.

More thoughts and takes to come in the full recap. For now, let's hear your immediate reactions to tonight's result.
