Some notes before the game starts:

Marcus Smart is out for multiple weeks after partially dislocating his left knee Friday against the Brooklyn Nets. That takes one of Boston's best perimeter defenders out of the lineup against the Sixers.

Nik Stauskas will not play tonight, nor will he during the remaining games on their road trip. The third-year player had an MRI on his left knee after injuring against the Timberwolves on Monday, but it came back negative for any further injury. Philadelphia isn't back home until December 1 against the Los Angeles Lakers, and all indications are Stauskas will play then. Isaiah Canaan is taking his spot in the starting lineup this evening.

Robert Covington also returns to the starting lineup for the second time this year, replacing Jerami Grant.
